handmade ceramics

by Tamara Cameron

Peregrino Art is a small-batch pottery studio in Pittsburgh, where I handcraft each piece using porcelain and stoneware clay. I create a variety of functional work, such as mugs, tumblers, platters, and luminaries. All of my work is handbuilt with slabs, which means I create all of my pieces without the use of a potter’s wheel. My background in graphic design influences my work, inspiring me to experiment with pattern and texture in unexpected ways. The result is beautifully crafted ceramics that are visually striking and tactile, blending practicality with unique, artistic expression.
